  1. Change the bed

The first thing you can do when moving to a new place, is just change the bed. Sell the old ones or just get rid of it. Because you never knew what the former user used it for, and you don’t know if there is more than just bugs inside it, it may even worse, like fungi as well. Make yourself safe by buying a whole brand new and clean bed.

 

  1. Move the bed to the place full of sunlight

By this time, you may understand how they don’t like any light. And surprises, they don’t like heat either. So, what’s the best combination of those things? The star of our galaxy, the Sun. Well of course not directly TO the sun, sunlight is sufficient enough to make bed bugs annoyed.

Silica gel is a preservative gel that dries of any humidity. From its ability, it is very good to be one of the solutions to rid the bed bugs that don’t like a dry place. You only need to spread silica gels on every corner of the room, some around the bed and on the bed. You’ll find the bed bugs gone in no time.

 

  1. Clean everything on the bed

The old-fashioned way to clean every mess and dirt is just using water. Same as getting rid of bed bugs, but this time is using warm or hot water to clean the bed and cook the bed bugs dead. Use some liquid soaps to cover the bed with nice smelling substance and the alcohol inside it that may kill them too. Then dry it with some high dryer with the highest heat until everything dry. Try to wash and dry it for over half an hour, since any bugs can’t stand on the hot and dry surface for more than 20 minutes.

 

  1. Put some tapes on the leg of the beds on corner of the bed

The tapes ensure them for not coming from the wooden leg of the bed. And if they are growing inside, the bugs may stick, so it prevents them from running around the bed.
